Let's climb Siripa from Kuruwita Erathna Road to see the nature and please Siripa

Siripa Karuna is one of the greatest pilgrimage experiences we have in Sri Lanka.  Buddhists believe that the left Siripa mark of the Lord Buddha is on the butterfly hill.  Climbing Samanala Kanda to see that magnificent land has been a very devotional pilgrimage among the Sinhalese for centuries.  When there are no vehicles, Siripa's kindness begins by getting ready for it before boarding it, handing over his house, property and even cattle to his children.  Because at that time we had to walk the entire Sri Pada on foot on the difficult mountain roads full of elephants and tigers.  But now we have been able to go downstairs in a vehicle and finish Siripa Karuna in a day. Kuruwita Erathna Road has not yet been cemented.  The road does not attract a large number of tourists.  You have to jump over the rocky outcrops and walk through the jungle.  Kuruwita Erathna Road is one of the best roads where our ancestors climbed Siri Pada.  It is...

The happiest day of my life ..........

The happiest day of my life is seldom. If I remind myself of the day to the most hostile in my life, the mage reminds me of passing my A / L exam. I have been interested in music since I was a child .So I also studied music in the GCE Ordinary Level class .After passing the GCE Ordinary Level examination I was selected for the Advanced Level in Arts. There I selected Sinhala, Geography and Music under the Advanced Level Arts stream. I got the required amount of knowledge in school .I was also constantly guided by my parents to get university admissions .I also made as much commitment to my A / L subjects as I could. Most of the time I study music because I am more involved in outdoor activities than studying in the classroom. My mother was very reluctant and scared about it..but I did my best to pass the GCE Advanced Level examination in the 2019 academic year.  We did .It's very difficult for the exam .But I wrote down what I studied and memorized in the paper .I felt very reli...

My first memorable gift

... My parents and relatives have given me gifts many times during this short period of my life. For the first time ever, my father gave me the most precious gift I will ever remember. It was the Mountain bike that my dad gave me  for my 15th birthday. It was the most precious and first gift I have ever received in my life.  Ever since I was a child, I had a passion for cycling and this mountain bike that my father brought with me was a very valuable gift.At first my mother did not want me to buy a bicycle..Because I'm very poisoned.  So Mother disliked my fear of getting injured while riding my bicycle.  When I was a child I was educated in a village school and my father told me that I could go to school faster by bicycle than by walking. That's easy for Dad.  I still remember the way Dad brought that gift and spoke to me.I was doing a school exercise at the time.I was very happy to see the latest style mountain bike parked in front of the yard.At that time the bik...

Kirinda Viharaya

This temple is located at a distance of 7 km (11.3 km) from Tissamaharama town on the Tissa-Kirinda highway.  In ancient times this was called 'Meda Viharaya'.  This shrine has an important place in the history of Ruhuna.  King Kelani Tissa sacrificed his daughter Princess Vihara Maha Devi to the sea to save the people from the threat of flooding.  It is said that this princess floated in the sea and reached this place on the southeastern coast of Ceylon.  According to historical sources, this temple was built by King Kavantissa to commemorate the landing of Vihara Maha Devi at Ruhuna.  Built on a rocky outcrop on the Kirinda beach, this temple has a Bo tree, a temple house and a carved statue of Goddess Vihara Maha Devi.  Located in a very pleasant environment with a clear view of the land and the sea, this is a popular shrine among Lakdiva Buddhists. AD in this land.  Poetic inscriptions acknowledging that it was a creation of King ...

..About gamilaan music..

Gamelan is the traditional ensemble music of the Javanese, Sundanese, and Balinese peoples of Indonesia, made up predominantly of percussive instruments. The most common instruments used are metallophones played by mallets and a set of hand-played drums called kendhang/Kendang, which register the beat.  A gamelan is a set of instruments consisting mainly of gongs, metallophones and drums. Some gamelans include bamboo flutes (suling), bowed strings (rebab) and vocalists. Each gamelan has a different tuning and the instruments are kept together as a set. No two gamelans are the same.  Javanese gamelan does have its religious purposes as well, as an accompaniment during religious ceremonies. It has also been used as a form of entertainment performed for the amusement of the royal family, as well as accompanying the wayang puppet shows. According to History of Gamelan in Indonesia, it was created by the Sang Hyang Guru as a god who once controlled all of Java. He was the god who i...
